I recently spent a fabulous few days painting the north Cornwall coastline with my good friends David Bachmann, Karl Terry and Tim King. The weather was pretty kind (with the inevitable occasional blip) and I was glad I packed the thermals because on the cliffs it’s still pretty nippy with the winds at this time of year, even when it’s sunny. We stayed at a lovely house in Rock and explored along the coast from Bedruthan Steps up to Trebarwith Strand. There’s so much to explore with endless painting possibilities, it’s always a great treat spending time down there.

With painting pals Tim King (Ieft), David Bachmann and Karl Terry after a sharp shower at Boscastle,

Here are the paintings from the trip and from these I hope to perhaps do one or two larger studio works.
